Macclesfield vs. Rotherham

Moss Rose

Millers v Silkmen Preview

Rotherham United go to Moss Rose tomorrow hoping to carry on their winning ways from Tuesday night.
The Millers are eight points behind the Silkmen but, of course, have had to overcome a deficit of seventeen points. Macclesfield have lost four of their six home games this season, and some by a big goal margin while the Millers have only lost one away game all season.

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins - Macclesfield are always difficult to beat, especially on their own ground.
Keith Alexander - Clearly, Rotherham are in a false position and they are probably the form team of the division. We'll be up for the game and hope to get back to winning ways

Macclesfield Team News:

Gareth Evans is suspended and Ahmed Deen has a hamstring problem. Argentinian defender Joaquin Medinilla has just joined but is still awaiting international clearance. The fans have been shouting for seventeen year old John Rooney (you might have heard of his big brother, Wayne) to start and it could be that Keith Alexander gives him a start this weekend

Player to watch: Simon Yeo

Has an eye for goal being top scorer so far this season with six

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers are more or less injury free. Long term injuries to Stephen Brogan and Mark Lynch will keep them out of the side and Reserve 'keeper, Steven Cann is sidelined with a finger injury.

Player to watch: Richie Barker

Whether he starts or comes on from the bench it is almost certain he will get some time in tomorrows game against his former side

Ref Watch:

Steven Cook

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at home to Darlington on Tuesday, 28th October with a 7.45pm kick off
