Millers v Shots in FA Cup

Tomorrow teams from the lower divisions are taking a rest from league football as it's time for the FA Cup First Round Proper. A time for giant killing, hopes and let-downs.
The Millers make the long way to Aldershot on the back of a good win over Leicester on Tuesday evening. And, they will hope to do better than they did this time last season, drawing and then losing to non-league team, Forest Green.
And, coincidently, it was Forest Green who were the last away team to win at the Recreation Ground, way back in January.
Both teams are in League Two - 'Shot in fourteenth place and the Millers in twenty-first. But, don't let the visitors position fool you!

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins - Aldershot are an organised team with an honest bunch of players and we know it will be difficult. We will go there and hope to put on a good performance
Gary Waddock - Mark Robins has done a tremendous job and due to their circumstances they have obviously galvanised a 'pull together' attitude. They will have a lot of confidence but we have experienced cup success here. We have to focus on Saturday - we all have dreams and dreams can come true

Aldershot Team News:

Dave Winfield and Junior Mendes remain sidelined. Anthony Charles will probably return after missing the last game due to suspension.

Player to watch: KIRK HUDSON

A pacy player who can panic the opposition's defence. Can also find the back of the net

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers will assess the fitness of Reuben Reid before the game tomorrow. The only other injuries are Stephen Brogan who is recovering from a broken leg (and a touch of hair dye!) and Mark Lynch who has a shoulder injury

Player to watch: IAN SHARPS

Will be playing his 100th game for the Millers tomorrow and I am sure he would love to make some sort of impact on the game

Ref Watch:

Mr J Singh from Middlesex

Next Fixtures:

The Millers travel to Stoke on Tuesday, 11 November in the Fourth Round of the Carling Cup. Kick-off is 7.45
