Millers v Cherries Preview

Rotherham entertain fellow 'minus pointers' Bournemouth this weekend at Don Valley.
Both teams will be raring to go after having their games called off last week with both hoping to pick up points. The Cherries last win was just before Christmas at home to high-flying Bury with the Millers not losing since the beginning of December at Shrewsbury.

Vital Quotes:

Robins - we will have to be at our best to take three points tomorrow because, as we saw when we went down there, Bournemouth are a good side.

Rotherham Team News:

Mark Burchill will be in contention after scoring in the Reserves mid-week. Skipper, Pablo Mills, also played in that game but he is still a doubt. Jason Taylor could make his debut after joining last week. On loan 'keeper, David Stockdale, will play in goal before going back to Fulham

Player to watch: Ian Sharps

Tall, powerful defender who also tends to pop up in the oppositions penalty area now and again!

Bournemouth Team News:

On-loan winger, Jake Thomson is set to make his debut. Warren Cummings is out injured and Josh McQuoid is doubtful due to illness

Player to watch: Jason Pearce

Defender who commands in the box and can provide a threat on the attack

Ref Watch:

SJ Bratt from the West Midlands

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are away at Scunthorpe on Tuesday, 20 January in the First Leg Area Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Please note kick-off is 7.30pm
