Millers v Iron Preview

Rotherham United travel to Glanford Park tomorrow, for the first leg of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy area final, knowing that they are only two games away from a probably game at Wembley.
The Iron have lost three of their last four games - all of which have been played away from home - and are sixth in League One.
In contrast, the Millers haven't lost a game since the beginning of December and Mark Robins men are nineteenth in League Two.

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins - We're the underdogs but we are determined to come home with a good result. We're taking a lot of support and we can try to make it feel like a home game. The prize that awaits us is a massive one.
Skipper Cliff Byrne - There is a big carrot at the end of these two games and hopefully the fans can turn out and get behind us. We need to get off to a winning start in the home leg because it will be one tough tie

Scunthorpe Team News:

Nigel Adkins will probably be without Grant McCann and Sam Togwell and Ian Morris isn't yet fit to play. Matt Sparrow will probably be beside Andrew Wright in midfield.

Player to watch: Gary Hooper

A young striker who is The Iron's top scorer so far this season with eighteen goals.

Rotherham Team News:

Andy Warrington will return in goal after being sidelined with a shoulder injury. New boy, Jason Taylor is rated doubtful. Richie Barker is cup-tied.

Player to watch: Jamie Green

Young man who runs his socks off and has a very bright future

Ref Watch:

CW Oliver from Northumberland

Next Fixtures:

The Millers next game will be at Grimsby on Saturday, 24th January 2009
