Millers v Stanley

Rotherham United welcome Accrington Stanley to Don Valley on Saturday for the first game of the 2009/10 season.

The Millers won their last two pre-season friendlies, one against a Manchester City XI and the against non-league Emley.

Accrington recently played Blackburn Rovers at the Fraser Eagle Stadium in a friendly and lost 3-0.

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers will start this season without striker Drewe Broughton who has a broken toe and Dale Tonge who is suspended. Andy Liddell, who is on a months deal with the Millers, is also struggling to be fit.

Accrington Team News:

Accrington will be without Andy Proctor in midfield as he is suspended. On loan striker, Billy Kee, from Leicester, could start with Alan Martin, Darren Kempson and Dean Winnard all set to play some part.

Player to watch: Paul Mullin

Was on loan with Bradford towards the end of last season so might have something to prove to his manager and the fans
