Bury vs. Rotherham

Gigg Lane

24th October 2009

3.00pm

Millers v Shakers

Rotherham United travel to Gigg Lane tomorrow and Millers fans will know most of the backroom staff - Alan Knill is manager, Chris Wilder his assistant and the goalkeeping coach is Neil Cutler. Ronnie Moore will be without Nick Fenton who is serving a one match suspension. The Millers will be looking for their second win under Moore, after getting two draws at Don Valley.
Alan Knill's side haven't lost since the beginning of September and are currently seven places and five points behind the Millers but their injury list seems to be growing daily

Vital Quotes:

Alan Knill - Rotherham are a strong side and it will be a tough game.

Ronnie Moore - Bury are a nice footballing team and Alan Knill has done a good job there.

Bury Team News:

David Worrall, Ryan Lowe and Mike Jones are major doubts after missing training this week. Andy Bishop, Damien Allen and Andy Morrell are all out as is Danny Carlton.

(And, at least I think he might be playing!)

Rotherham Team News:

Marc Joseph will probably come in for the suspended Fenton and Andy Nicholas, who should be fit after having stitches in a head wound last weekend, could get his second start of the season.

Player to watch: Ian Sharps

Big strong defender who doesn't take any prisoners

Ref Watch:

David Webb from County Durham

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at Don Valley next Saturday, 31st October when Aldershot Town are the visitors.
