Millers v Valiants Preview

Rotherham and Port Vale return to league action this weekend after both being involved in FA Cup games last week.

The Millers will want to carry on from the win they got against Wealdstone last Sunday after only having league one win since Ronnie Moore took over.
Vale have played two cup games this week and got two draws, although they lost on penalties in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy but the last time they lost in the league was in September against Notts County.

Vital Quotes:

Kris Taylor Vale midfielder - Rotherham are a decent side and their manager knows the division well. We have to make sure we go about our job the right way
Ronnie Moore - I think it will be a tough game but I think we can win

Port Vale Team News:

Micky Adams will probably be without Gareth Owen who fractured his cheek bone in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy game during mid-week. Doug Loft might be fit to start but Geoff Horsfield is still injured

Player to watch: Marc Richards

Top scorer so far this season but he is very good at holding up play when needed

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers expect Nick Fenton to be fit although he hasn`t trained this week and Nicky Law after he was taken off at half-time against Wealdstone. Ex Vale player Micky Cummins is out with a groin injury

Player to watch: Kevin Ellison

Seems to like scoring goals at the moment!
