Rotherham vs. Darlington

Don Valley Stadium

26th December 2009

3.00pm

Millers v Quakers Preview

With a pitch inspection due for 9.30am in the morning and the forecast for minus two overnight around Don Valley, the game going ahead is a serious doubt - but, as they say, where there's a will etc etc and looking out of the window here in Rotherham, the ice/snow does appear to be melting.

Both teams had last weekends games called off so will be hoping this game goes ahead to stop a backlong building up.

The Millers have a good record at Don Valley, not having lost there this season in the League, although, as Manager, Ronnie Moore says, there have been a fair number of draws.

The Quakers are bottom of League Two having lost ten of their eleven games away from the Northern Echo Darlington Arena so far this season.

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers will be without Nick Fenton who is serving the third of his four games' suspensions. The game will probably be too early for Dale Tonge, although he is back in training, and also out injured are Paul Warne and Andy Liddell

Player to watch: Kevin Ellison

will want to carry on scoring to try and catch Adam Le Fondre up!

Darlington Team News:

Ian Miller has been declared fit to play and Darlington will be boosted by Noel Whelan's return. Mark Bower will be missing following surgery on an ankle injury

Player to watch: Ian Miller

will want to prove himself after being out injured

Ref Watch:

Anthony Taylor from Manchester

Next Fixtures:

The Millers travel the short distance to Saltergate on Monday, 28th December.
**Please Note - The game is a 1.00pm kick off and is All Ticket
