Rotherham United vs. Port Vale

Don Valley Stadium

3rd April 2010

3.00pm

Millers v Vale

Rotherham United welcome Port Vale to Don Valley for the first of the Easter games tomorrow afternoon.
The Millers are hoping to get into the top three over Easter and Ronnie Moore has called for his team to play like they did on Saturday against Notts County.
Vale are twelve points behind Rotherham but they recently got a stunning 5-0 win over Chesterfield at Saltergate

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - We know we are in for a difficult game but we will be prepared
Micky Adams - We have to approach the Rotherham game in a positive frame of mind

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers will be without Dale Tonge for the rest of the season. It is possible that Liam Darville, on loan from Leeds United, could get his first start. Gavin Gunning has been called up to the Republic of Ireland U19 squad. Tom Pope must have caught Ronnie Moore's eye after scoring a hat-trick in a reserve game this week

Player to watch: Adam Le Fondre

Top of the League Two goalscoring chart and will want to keep it that way

Port Vale Team News:

Micky Adams will include Lee Molyneux in the squad who is on loan from Southampton. Doug Loft, Sean Rigg and Simon Richman all scored for Vale reserves this week and any of them could play some part in the game

Player to watch: Marc Richards

Vale's top scorer who can also hold up play well

Ref Watch:

Mark Halsey from Lancashire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers travel to Aldershot on Easter Monday - and it is a 3.00pm kick-off
