Millers v Cobblers Preview

Rotherham United are making hard work of trying to get promotion - and even the fans turned on them during their two-nil loss at Morecambe on Saturday.
The Millers are in fifth place at the moment, but have lost their last four games, letting in eight goals and only scoring one.
Ian Sampson brings his team to Don Valley this evening in ninth place after losing on Saturday one-nil to Notts County.

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - The fans aren't happy after four losses but this is the time to get behind the team

Ian Sampson - This is a big game for us, Rotherham are in the play-offs and we want to take their place. If we play like we did on Saturday then I have every confidence that we can come away with a good result

Rotherham United Team News:

Ronnie Moore could ring the changes tonight after calling the display on Saturday 'spineless'. Gavin Gunning, rested at the weekend, could be back in the side. Moore also has to decide if Drewe Broughton, Kevin Ellison or Craig McAllister will partner Adam Le Fondre up front

Player to watch: Adam Le Fondre

Will want to get back to scoring goals after a few blank games

Northampton Town Team News:

Liam Davis is only rated as fifty-fifty to start and Ian Sampson will have to decide whether he is keeping Jason Steele in goal or putting Chris Dunn there now he is back from injury. Adebayo Akinfenwa is doubtful with an ankle injury.

Player to watch: Ryan Gilligan

The teams second top scorer who can play up front or in midfield

Ref Watch:

KG Evans from Lancashire
