Millers v Shots Preview

Rotherham United could be just ninety minutes away from their second ever trip to Wembley and Manager, Ronnie Moore, says he would be proud to lead them out there.
Tonight is the second leg of the League Two play-offs against Aldershot Town and the Millers have the upper hand by leading one-nil. An eighty-eighth minute goal from Adam Le Fondre gave the Millers that edge and Rotherham will be hoping that they can double that lead early in the game tonight.
But, Kevin Dillon's Aldershot side will be no walk over and it is certain that they will up their game this evening

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - We have to be sensible going into tonight's game. We don't want to find ourselves sitting back. We need to take the game to them
Kevin Dillon - Although we lost at the weekend we had the better chances. If we get another 10% out of our forwards and wide players then we will put a lot of pressure on Rotherham. We have nothing to lose and we have to make sure that we don't give too much away early on and stick to what we have got to do

Rotherham United Team News:

Providing there have been no late training injuries, Ronnie Moore will probably field the same side as Saturday.

Player to watch: Adam Le Fondre

Hopefully, Alfie will be popping a couple in the back of the net tonight

Aldershot Town Team News:

Goalkeeper, Jamie Young, who limped out of the game on Saturday, won't be fit so Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz will continue. Defender, Chris Blackburn is doubtful and striker Reece Connolly is a major doubt with a back complaint

Player to watch: Scott Donnelly

Midfielder who gets forward and could cause a few problems if he os allowed to roam free

Match Facts & Stats

Whoever wins this tonight, and it could well go to extra time and penalties, will go to Wemberleee

Ref Watch:

Fred Graham

Next Fixtures:

Fingers crossed that it will be Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 30th May at 3.00pm
