Morecambe vs. Rotherham United

The Globe Arena

14 August 2010

Millers v Shrimps Preview

Rotherham United head to Morecambe and their new stadium, The Globe Arena, tomorrow for their first away game of the season.
Both teams have lost one and won one game already this season - the Millers winning in the league against Lincoln while Morecambe beat Coventry in the Carling Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Last season, although Morecambe finished above Rotherham in League Two, it was the Millers who ended up going to Wembley.

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - From the reports we`ve had on Morecambe from Tuesday night they were excellent. We`re expecting a tough game but we have to impose ourselves on them

Morecambe Team News:

Sammy McIlroy has no fresh injury worries and it could be the same team that started on Tuesday

Player to watch: Andy Fleming

Had a dream debut on Tuesday night, scoring both goals in the two-nil win over Championship side Coventry

Rotherham United Team News:

Ronnie Moore will be pleased to welcome back his loan players, who couldn`t play on Tuesday night in the cup game at Peterborough. Exodus Geohaghon and Dean Holden will probably be reinstated in the side while Tom Elliott is more than ninety per cent sure to play some part in the game, after pulling out of Tuesday`s match. Mark Bradley should also play some part in the game

Player to watch: Ryan Cresswell

Has taken to being skipper like a duck to water and chips in with the odd goal too

Ref Watch:

D Webb from County Durham

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at Don Valley next weekend when Cheltenham will be the visitors. Kick-off is 3.00 pm

I think you have a good lad there as captain. 100% player all the time.
