Rotherham United vs. Chesterfield

Don Valley Stadium

25 September 2010

Millers v Spireites Preview

Rotherham United entertain near neighbours Chesterfield tomorrow at Don Valley Stadium and with the Millers being in fifth place and the Spireites two places above fans are expecting to see a tough and exciting game tomorrow full of goals.
Chesterfield are the only team left in League Two who are unbeaten and moving into a new stadium seems to have done them no harm at all. But, saying that, they have yet to win away from home while Rotherham haven`t lost at Don Valley since the beginning of April

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - If both teams players play to their ability then it`s going to be a cracking game. We are leading goal scorers in this league and we like to go forward
John Sheridan - We are looking forward to the game and we are expecting it to be tough. Adam Le Fondre is a big part of their team and will be a big threat if we don`t keep on our toes

Rotherham United Team News:

Ronnie Moore has a headache of a good kind with striker Tom Pope and midfielder Mark Bradley itching for a start tomorrow although the game has probably come too early for a Ryan Taylor return

Player to watch: ADAM LE FONDRE

Will want to keep at the top of the league`s scoring chart

Chesterfield Team News:

John Sheridan has hinted that he may make changes tomorrow with Derek Niven heading for a re-call and Ian Breckin and Rob Page both featured in a practice game mid-week while Jordan Bowery is doubtful

Player to watch: CRAIG DAVIES

Much travelled Welsh international who is the Spireites top scorer so far this season

Ref Watch:

CH Webster from Tyne and Wear

Next Fixtures:

The Millers entertain Bradford City on Tuesday night with a 7.45pm kick-off
