Millers v Silkmen Preview

Rotherham United travel to Macclesfield today after their five-nil thrashing of Port Vale on Saturday saw them move to second spot in the league. Macclesfield are fourteenth in the league after their two-all draw with Bury on Saturday, which brought an end to their run of three defeats.

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - With the budget Macclesfield have to work on they do fantastic to survive year in, year out.
Gary Simpson - It will be tough. They are a big club with a massive budget.

Macclesfield Town Team News:

The Silkmen will be without Carl Tremarco and Shaun Brisley who are both suffering hip problems and the game may come too soon for Ricky Sappleton. Rated as doubtful are Emile Sinclair (hamstring) and Vinny Mukendi (groin)

The Millers will be without Danny Coid who limped off on Saturday with an ankle problem and Luke Ashworth will probably start in his place. Still out is skipper Ryan Cresswell (broken collarbone). Ronnie Moore could have a headache of whether to start Nicky Law or Mark Randall today.
