Rotherham United vs. Bury

Don Valley Stadium

12 March 2011

3.00pm

Millers v Bury Preview

Rotherham United and Bury meet at Don Valley this afternoon, both hoping for three points out of the game, Bury to try and close the gap on leaders Chesterfield and the Millers to try and get back into the top three.

The Millers have only won one of their last four games and have 'slumped` to fifth place while Bury have jumped into second place, not losing since 12th February against Stockport.

Vital Quotes:

Ronnie Moore - Bury have some good players who want to pass the ball and whose movement is good but we`ve got a game plan worked out that we think can do serious damage to them

Alan Knill - We've got really tough games ahead of us, but the good thing is that you can see my players are up for a fight. If we have to fight, we'll fight. If we are allowed to play we can do that also

Rotherham United Team News:

Ronnie Moore will start with returning skipper, Ryan Cresswell at the back and it is more than likely Adam Le Fondre will be re-called after being rested on Tuesday night. Tom Newey is out, serving his second of three games suspension

Player to watch: Marcus Marshall

Fast winger who scored on Tuesday and will probably want to get on the end of some more

Bury Team News:

Alan Knill will put striker Chris Holroyd, who joined yesterday from Brighton and Hove Albion, into the squad that travels to Don Valley. Damien Mozika is out, serving the last game a ban and it is likely Peter Sweeney will deputise again for him in midfield. Ben Futcher is a major doubt with a hamstring injury.

Player to watch: Ryan Lowe

Top scorer in League Two at the moment (though, hopefully Alfie will have a say in that!)

Ref Watch:

D Webb from Lancashire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers travel to Chesterfield for their first ever game at the b2net on Friday, 18th March. Kick-off is 7.45pm and the game is live on Sky TV
