Lincoln City vs. Rotherham United

Sincil Bank

25 March 2011

7.45pm

Millers v Imps Preview

Rotherham United travel to Sincil Bank tonight to take on Lincoln City. The Millers will be under the management of duo Andy Liddell and Paul Warne for the first time, after Ronnie Moore and John Mullen left the club on Monday.

The two clubs met on the opening day of the season which ended in a two-one victory for the Millers at Don Valley.

The Millers are currently eighth in the league, having dropped out of the play-off places on Tuesday night while the Imps, who were bottom of the league, having just nineteen points from twenty-one games in January have had a great month and are ten points behind the Millers in seventeenth place.

The Imps won their last game at home two-one against Southend, while the Millers have been struggling away, having won only two away games since the start of the year.

Vital Quotes:

Andy Liddell - But it won't be easy. All over the league, apart from Chesterfield, the teams are all evenly matched so anyone can beat anyone.

Ryan Cresswell - Lincoln are a good, well organised side but, like us, have been a bit inconsistent at times

Lincoln City Team News:

The Imps have been having a bit of a goalkeeper crisis, with Sunderland recalling Trevor Carson. Steve Tilson went into the loan transfer market late yesterday and signed Elliott Parish from Aston Villa. Tilson will also give a Tom Kilbey, who is on loan from Portsmouth, his debut. Ben Hutchinson returns after serving a one-match ban. Defender, Stephen Hunt, is a doubt

Player to watch: Ashley Grimes

Striker who is on loan until the end of the season from Millwall and is the Imps top scorer so far this season.

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers have a full squad to pick from including Nick Fenton who has recovered from a thigh strain and Jamie Green has returned from his loan spell with Boston and could be included. Paul Warne has hinted that there will be changes from the five-nil drubbing at Chesterfield last Friday night.

Player to watch: Ryan Taylor

Will want to add to his goal tally tonight
