Aldershot vs. Rotherham United

Recreation Ground

30 April 2011

3.00pm

Millers v Shots Preview

Rotherham United travel to the Recreation Ground today for their last away game of the season, lying in ninth place in League Two, with all but the optimists knowing the season is over. Although, not mathematically out of it, but points for Stevenage and Gillingham and it's goodnight Vienna.

Aldershot are in fourteenth place going into this game and Manager, Dean Holdsworth, won the March Manager of the Month award having not lost in ten games before their loss to Burton and then Bradford on Monday.

Vital Quotes:

Dean Holdsworth - We can take a lot from the last three months and it whets our appetite for next season to look forward to coming back.

Andy Scott - I know Dean Holdsworth very well and I know he will set Aldershot up to pass the ball. On their day they are a very entertaining side and they have the potential to score goals and cause problems

Aldershot Team News:

After losing the last two games, Dean Holdsworth may put some fringe players in the side. John Halls is suffering from sickness and Damian Spencer, Alex Rodman and Reece Connolly are also doubtful. Adam Mekki could play instead of Rodman, although he was injured in a recent reserve game

Player to watch: Luke Guttridge

Tough tackling central midfielder who manages to get the odd goal

Rotherham United Team News:

Andy Scott has hinted that there may be a couple of changes to the side today. Ian Thomas-Moore is definitely out as is Johnny Mullins. Nicky Law and Ryan Taylor will have late fitness tests.

Player to watch: Mark Bradley

Having had a stop/start season, Bradley has been showing improvement of late and is due a goal
