Rotherham United vs. Barnet

Don Valley Stadium

20 August 2011

3.00pm

Millers v Bees Preview

Top of the league, Rotherham United entertain Barnet at Don Valley this afternoon and Andy Scott will be hoping to make it four wins out of four.

The Millers have had a great start to the season winning all three league games, two of those being away, and scoring seven goals. Barnet have won one, lost one and drawn one, but did beat Championship Portsmouth in the Carling Cup game at Fratton Park.

Vital Quotes:

Andy Scott - Barnet have started off alright. They've beaten Portsmouth in the Carling Cup and we know it won't be a pushover. They've got two centre-forwards, in McLeod and Price who have vast experience and the side has some pace in it. We've got to be sure of our performance and try and impose our game on them. Lawrie Sanchez knows this league and knows what he's doing. We're expecting a tough game but if we can continue with our tempo and organisation I'm sure we can create chances.

Rotherham United Team News:

Rotherham United have no fresh injury worries and it could be that Andy Scott goes with the same team that beat Crewe on Tuesday night, although winning goal scorer, Ben Pringle, could get the nod.

Player to watch: Adam Le Fondre

Scored three goals on his travels this season and will be looking to start his account at Don Valley

Barnet Team News:

Daniel Leach and Darren Dennehy are still out but Mark Hughes will feature after going off during the week with concussion. Steve Kabba could be fit after a knee operation in the summer but it is unlikely that the Bees will want to risk him so soon.

Player to watch: Izale McLeod

Scored two goals in their recent game against Gillingham and is forging a good partnership with Jason Price up front

Ref Watch:

David Coote from Nottinghamshire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at Don Valley again next Saturday when the visitors will be Gillingham. Kick-off is 3.00pm
