Millers v Gills Preview

Rotherham United welcome Gillingham to Don Valley this afternoon, in which, Millers Manager, Andy Scott, says will be their toughest test so far.
Both teams are on ten points in League Two, having both won three and drawn one game.
Gillingham make the trip on the back of a three-nil win at Plymouth while the Millers got out of jail last Saturday at Don Valley, coming from behind to take a point off Barnet.

Andy Scott doesn`t seem afraid of making changes with the Millers having had three different centre-back pairings in the four league games played. Jason Taylor and Ryan Cresswell should be available after missing out last weekend and, with Adam Le Fondre reportedly having a medical at Reading, it will probably mean a start for Chris Holroyd up front, who scored for the reserves on Monday.

Player to watch: Troy Brown

Defender who scored a good goal last weekend but was deeply disappointed about the two the Millers let in and so will want to remedy that

Gillingham Team News:

Curtis Weston should keep his place with Chris Whelpdale out with a calf injury. Stefan Payne and Jack Evans are sidelined with illness. Luke Rooney could stake a claim for a start after coming off the bench last week and doing well. Although both Simon King and Garry Richards have requested loan moves, they could well be on the bench this afternoon.

Player to watch: Danny Kedwell

A born and bred Gills, he joined his home club this season from AFC Wimbledon. A powerful striker who will want to add to his two goals this afternoon
