Rotherham United vs. Shrewsbury Town

Don Valley Stadium

Millers v Shrews Preview

Rotherham United entertain Shrewsbury Town this afternoon at Don Valley with both sides looking for all three points.

The Millers, without a win this month, are desperate to kick their season off again while the Shrews will also be after all three points in a hope to get themselves back into the top three. Shrewsbury haven't won away from home since 17th September while the Millers haven't won at all since 10th September.

Vital Quotes:

Andy Scott - Shrewsbury have got a terrific manager in Graham Turner. They play with two out and out wingers and centre-forwards who give everything they've got and they are a solid, organised side who are going to be another tough test for us. Most of their players have been together a long time and it's a good opportunity for them to force their way into one of the play-off spots. But we've got to concentrate on what we do and get back to winning ways.

Graham Turner I'm surprised that Rotherham have got into a run like this because some of their summer signings were very impressive. It's going to be a difficult game for us and a dangerous time to be going and playing them. What we can't afford to do is give them the confidence of going a goal up against us. I think we are conceding some poor goals and it's something we've got to address.

Rotherham United Team News:

Andy Scott will be without Ryan Cresswell (ankle), Mark Bradley (shoulder) and Guy Branston (suspended). Michael Raynes and/or Troy Brown could be back in the starting eleven and Jon Harley should make his Don Valley debut.

Player to watch: Lewis Grabban

Due a goal and, if he's played in the right position, should start getting them again

Shrewsbury Town Team News:

Graham Turner will be without Reuben Hazell who has a knee injury. Carl Regan and James Collins could be pushing for starts.

Player to watch: Ian Sharps

Will want to do well against his former club

Ref Watch:

Christopher Sarginson from Staffordshire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers travel to Morecambe on Tuesday night where the kick-off is 7.45pm
