Oxford vs. Rotherham United

Kassam Stadium

17 March 2012

3.00pm

Millers v U's Preview

Rotherham United travel to the Kassam Stadium to take on seventh placed Oxford tomorrow afternoon. Oxford go into this game on the back of an unexpected loss to Bradford City at the Kassam while the Millers will want to make amends for losing to Torquay on Tuesday night.

Oxford have won two of their last three games played at home while the Millers haven't won away from Don Valley since their Friday night visit to Southend in February.

Vital Quotes:

Chris Wilder - They (Rotherham) have got the same ambitions as us in terms of trying to get out of the league. We had a tight game with them on the first day of the season at their place, the boy scored a great goal and it was a tight game that maybe they edged.

Andy Scott - It's important that we go there on Saturday and get three points then they are under more pressure from us. Of course, we go for the win at every game but we just can't get the ball over the line at the moment. Hopefully that will turn and we can start to convert the chances we are creating. They've spent a lot of money on players and are going for it this year. It will be a good atmosphere and the pitch is always good and hopefully, it will be a decent game.

Oxford Team News:

Chris Wilder is going to have to make changes due to Damien Batt and James Constable being suspended and it is more than probable that Christian Montano, who joined today from West Ham on loan, will start.

Player to watch: Michael Duberry

Much travelled defender, starting his career with Chelsea before moving to Leeds, Stoke and Reading. Joined the U's in June last year from St Johnstone.

Rotherham United Team News:

Andy Scott will be without Richard Naylor, who is suffering from a knee injury and, thinking of all the games that have been played this month and what have to be played, he may be looking to rest a couple of players. New boy Sam Hoskins, who joined yesterday from Southampton on loan, will play some part in the game.

Player to watch: Gareth Evans

Set the team alight since coming back from injury earlier this month

Ref Watch:

Oliver Langford from the West Midlands

Next Fixtures:

The Millers entertain Macclesfield at Don Valley on Tuesday, 20th March with a 7.45 pm kick-off
