Rotherham United vs. Macclesfield Town

Millers v Silkmen Preview

What a difference twenty-four hours make in football. This time yesterday the Rotherham v Macclesfield game had one team who had a manager and one who hadn't. Well, going into this game tonight, that's still the case - but the other way round. The Millers have sacked Andy Scott while managerless Town have installed Brian Horton in the hot seat.

The Millers go into this game with Darren Patterson in charge and in eleventh place while the Silkmen are in fourth spot from the bottom and that's only thanks to a superior goal difference than Plymouth and Hereford.

Rotherham have won just one of their five games in March so far, losing two and drawing two while Macclesfield have had three draws but come into this game on the back of a two-nil loss to Dagenham and Redbridge.

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers are hoping to have Mark Bradley in the squad, despite him limping off towards the end of the two-one loss against Oxford on Saturday. If he doesn't make it then Dale Tonge will deputise. Everyone else, except long term injured, Luke Foster, are all fit.

Player to watch: Gareth Evans

Strong pacey winger who also knows where the goal is

Macclesfield Town Team News:

The Silkmen will be without Marcus Marshall who can't play against his parent club. Paul Morgan is is out for the remainder of the season with ankle problems and Dwayne Mattis is still struggling. Elliott Hewitt has a hip problem and probably won't play.

Player to watch: George Donnelly

Top scorer with Macclesfield so far this season and will want to hit the back of the net tonight

Ref Watch:

PHILIP GIBBS from the West Midlands

Next Fixtures:

The Millers make their first ever trip to the Broadfield Stadium on Saturday to take on Crawley Town. Kick-off is 3pm
