The New York Stadium hosts it's first cup game this evening when Rotherham United take on York City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The Millers go into this game on the back of a four-nil win over Bradford City at the weekend while the Bantams also won, three-one over Oxford.
The Millers got a bye in the first round of this competition last season and lost two-one to Sheffield United at Don Valley in the second round. The last time York were in this competition was in October 2003 when they lost to Halifax Town two-one at The Shay.
Paul Raynor - We want to do well in this competition and won't be putting a second string side out although we may tinker with the side a little bit and give people a run out to see what they've got. We respect the competition and there is a trophy to be won at the end of it. York are a hard working side and they've had a good season. They will be full of confidence but so are we.
Gary Mills - We will pick what we feel is the right team to win a game of football at Rotherham. It makes no difference to me if they make changes or not. I will just focus on my team and what we are going to do. t`s a tough draw but we are capable of getting a result.
It may be that the Millers leave out skipper Ian Sharps although he played with a broken hand in Saturday's win over Bradford. Johnny Mullins could start and it could be Andy Warrington in goal as Scott Shearer might not be available as his wife awaits the birth of their baby. Steve Evans could make changes to the side for this game, although, due to the rules of the competition, he will have to start with six players who played some part in the last couple of games. New boy Craig Morgan could make his debut. Definitely out is Kari Arnason who is away on International duty with Iceland.
Will want to reclaim his place after injury
Gary Mills has no fresh injury problems although Scott Dobie is still a few weeks away from full fitness and Chris Doig is still struggling with an knock he picked up a couple of weeks ago.
Joined in the summer and has already scored three goals for the Minstermen
Richard Clark from Northumberland
The Millers travel to Port Vale for the next League game on Saturday, 8th September where it will be a 3.00pm kick-off
