Barnet vs. Rotherham United

Underhill Stadium

22 September 2012

3.00pm

Millers v Bees Preview

Rotherham United travel to the Underhill Stadium to take on bottom placed Barnet in the hope of getting their first away win of the season.

The Millers go into this game on the back of their first home defeat of the season and with their last away game being the poor six-two defeat to Port Vale.

The Bees, who have Mark Robson in charge in his first managerial position, haven't won a game this season yet and the only point they have on the board is a one-all draw with Bristol Rovers in August at Underhill.

Vital Quotes:

Steve Evans - Mark Robson is a bright young manager and a tough coach and it's always a tough place to go. I watched the DVD recently of their three-one loss at home to Gillingham and Barnet could have been three-nil up at one stage. Teams have to dig in deep at Underhill with the slope on the pitch, the surroundings and their supporters get right behind them and are pretty vocal. We know we need to go there and give a top performance to get some points.

Mark Robson - I am expecting them to be strong, powerful and I think they are renowned for their physical presence. It will certainly be a tough game but the situation we are in at the moment they are all tough games.

Barnet Team News:

Barnet could be without both Jon Nurse (back) and Jamal Lowe (knee) who both went off injured in their loss to Aldershot on Tuesday night. Liam O'Brien definitely won't play after having a hernia operation this week and it is very unlikely that Steve Kabba, Andy Yiadom and Mark Byrne will be fit to play. Robson could hand young striker George Sykes a first start today.

Player to watch: Ricky Holmes

Joined the Bees in 2010 and will be wanting to add to his one goal this season

Rotherham United Team News:

With Steve Evans serving the third of his six match stadium ban, Paul Raynor will be in charge on the touchline aided and abetted by Mr Evans on the end of a phone. The Millers will give a late fitness test to Kari Arnason. Mark Bradley was on the bench for the game against Rochdale on Tuesday so could start today and David Noble has travelled with the squad. Laurie Wilson probably won`t be fit to play.

Player to watch: Daniel Nardiello

Quick, tricky striker who likes to get in the box. I`d like to think he`d start today.

Ref Watch:

Dean Whitestone from Northamptonshire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at home on Saturday, 29th September when Oxford are the visitors. Kick-off is 3.00pm
