Millers v U's Preview

Rotherham United welcome Oxford United to the New York Stadium this afternoon in a game which sees twelfth take on seventeenth in League Two.

While the Millers will be wanting to put the first league defeat at their new ground behind them the U's will be looking for their first league win since winning three on the bounce at the start of the season.

Vital Quotes:

Paul Raynor - Chris (Wilder) may have got a lot of injuries but he's got a really good squad and he'll be fielding a very competent side on Saturday. They're on a run of defeats and they will be just as hungry to put that right as we are. we will need to be on our guard and at our best to nullify their threat and then we can impose ourselves on the game

Mickey Lewis - It's a tough game. They are a really good side and people are expecting them to do well but, at this point in the season, there is only three points between us and them. We want to pick up wins as soon as we can and anyone can beat anyone in this league. Rotherham are a good side but so are we.

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers will be hoping to have both Kari Arnason and David Noble available for the game but Laurie Wilson is still sidelined with a knee injury. New boy Bob Harris is likely to make his debut after joining on loan from Blackpool. Alex Revell starts his suspension today after receiving a straight red last Saturday

Player to watch: Kari Arnason

The Millers faithful are hoping the Icelandic International will be back this afternoon as he's been sorely missed

Oxford United Team News:

Chris Wilder's side has been plagued by injuries of late and among the ones he will be without are Adam Chapman and Jon-Paul Pitman but hopes to have Jake Forster-Caskey available after illness.

Player to watch: Michael Raynes

Former Miller who will want to show us what we are missing

Ref Watch:

Graham Salisbury from Lancashire

Next Fixtures:
