Millers v Pilgrims Preview

Rotherham United
vs.
Plymouth Argyle

New York Stadium

27 October 2012

3.00pm

Rotherham United welcome Plymouth Argyle for their first trip to the New York Stadium this afternoon.

The Millers go into this game with back-to-back wins and in seventh place in League Two while the Pilgrims are in fifteenth place and four points behind the hosts, having won two and lost one of their last league games.

The last time the Pilgrims lost away from home was at Barnet two weeks ago which was the same day the Millers lost last at home although they come into this game on the back of an away defeat at Cheltenham

Vital Quotes:

Steve Evans - It will be a tough game. They are a good side and it's going to be as tough as test as we've faced all season.

Carl Fletcher - Steve Evans's teams are always committed and organised and it will be a tough game. We know that Arni (Kari Arnason) is there and all about his long throw and that they are a big side. We are full of confidence and we're looking forward to the game

Rotherham United Team News:

Andy Warrington will start in goal. With Bob Harris going back to Blackpool it will be either the latest loanee Josh Morris or fit again Laurie Wilson at left-back. Apart from that one change the team is likely to be the same as started on Tuesday night

Player to watch: Kari Arnason

Former Argyle favourite who will want to find his shooting boots against his old club

Plymouth Argyle Team News:

Carl Fletcher will give late fitness tests to Rhys Griffiths and Paris Cowan-Hall. Conor Hourihane is out suspended and Jamie Lowry could make his first start in his place

Player to watch: Darren Purse

No nonsense defender who will ignore the boo's from the home fans for his Owls connections

Ref Watch:

Darren Bond from Lancashire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers concentrate on the FA Cup next weekend when Stevenage travel to the New York Stadium. Tickets for non-season ticket holders will be on sale after today's game and all next week,
