Millers v Daggers Preview

Rotherham United make their second away journey of the week when they take on Dagenham and Redbridge at the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium (Victoria Road) on Saturday.

The Millers go into this game on the back of a one-all draw at Fleetwood while the Daggers won on Tuesday night at Oxford.

Rotherham are currently seventh in League Two which is eight places and six points above Dagenham.

The Millers' visit coincides with the Daggers new club shop being opened, which will take place at 12.45pm.

Vital Quotes:

Abu Ogog - On the back of the Oxford performance we are very confident and all the players are looking forward to the game.

Steve Evans - Dagenham and Redbridge are the in-form team in the league at the moment. They've been quite outstanding recently and John Still is doing a good job down in East London.

Dagenham and Redbridge Team News:

Definitely missing for the Daggers is Kevin Maher who got his marching orders on Tuesday night but back from suspension is Michael Spillane, although he has been suffering from a knee injury. Josh Scott and Billy Bingham are returning from injury so could take some part in the game.

Player to watch: Dwight Gayle

A young striker who has been quite a prolific scorer in non-league football and has pitched in with four goals for the Daggers this season.

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers team is ravaged by injuries with Steve Evans losing loanee Jamie Devitt on Tuesday who has gone back to his parent club Hull City with a hamstring injury. Kari Arnason, who is expected to be out for two weeks with a shoulder injury, will be sorely missed. Dale Tonge and Lionel Ainsworth will be out for another ten weeks as will goalkeeper Scott Shearer, although Andy Warrington will be hard to remove from the number one spot. In line for a start will be latest signing loanee Luke Rooney.

Player to watch: Craig Morgan

Strong defender who will be hard to beat
