Oxford United vs. Rotherham United

Kassam Stadium

5 March 2013

7.45pm

Millers v Oxford Preview

Rotherham United travel to the Kassam Stadium today to take on Oxford who are four places and eight points behind the Millers.

This is a re-arranged game with the Millers having won two and drawn their last three away games. Oxford have lost two of their last four home games although they beat second placed Port Vale on Saturday at the Kassam.

Vital Quotes:

Mickey Lewis - It will be a really tough game. Rotherham are a good, competitive side with some good players and I think they could get automatic promotion.

Paul Raynor - We know all about Oxford and they know all about us. We know all about their strengths and we hope we can find a couple of weaknesses in there. They've got a strong squad but they've been a little bit inconsistent, but haven`t we all. They were one of the teams tipped to do well at the start of the season and I`m sure Chris (Wilder) will be a little disappointed with their league position at the moment. We`re under no illusion that they won`t be up for it and it`s got the ingredients of being a great game.

Oxford United Team News:

Chris Wilder will probably start with Alfie Potter and Deane Smalley who scored against Port Vale on Saturday up front with Tom Craddock and James Constable starting on the bench again. Andrew Whing is in line for a start with latest signing Scott Davies likely to be involved.

Player to watch: Deane Smalley

Got the nod to start at the weekend and repaid Chris Wilder with the winning goal

Rotherham United Team News:

Steve Evans is hoping that Daniel Kearns is fit after being out with a hamstring injury. It could be Jordan Slew's last appearance in a Millers shirt as his loan spell ends after the game tomorrow although the Millers are in talks with Blackburn about keeping the striker. Although Scott Shearer has returned to training it is more than likely that Andy Warrington will keep his place between the sticks. The Millers Boss has hinted at changes and maybe Kayode Odejayi could start

Player to watch: Johnny Mullins

Was on loan with the U's earlier this season and will want to score his third Millers goal of the season against them tonight

Ref Watch:

Andy D'Urso - Billericay, Essex

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are at home on Saturday when Dagenham and Redbridge are the visitors. Kick-off is 3.00pm
