Rotherham United vs. Dagenham & Redbridge

New York Stadium

9 March 2013

3.00pm

Milers v Daggers Preview

Rotherham United welcome Dagenham and Redbridge to the New York Stadium today with the Daggers eighteen points and twelve places behind the Millers.

Dagenham haven't won an away game since the beginning of January although they have drawn two of the last three while the Millers have won one and drawn two of their last home games.

Wayne Burnett took over as the Daggers Caretaker Manager at the end of February when John Still departed for Luton Town.

The Millers will want to make amends for the five-nil drubbing they suffered earlier this season at the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium.

Vital Quotes:

Steve Evans - It's going to be tough. Wayne Burnett will have them well organised and when you look at the Dagenham team sheet they've got a lot of good players.

Wayne Burnett - We are expecting a very tough game against an in form Rotherham side and it`s going to be a big challenge for us. They picked up a good result on Tuesday and will be full of confidence but if we are on our game I believe we can bring a result back to Dagenham.

Rotherham United Team News:

Claude Davis is struggling to be fit for this game but will have a late fitness test. If necessary Craig Morgan could come in although he would probably benefit from a couple more ninety minutes with the reserves. Steve Evans will also monitor Daniel Kearns before the game and if he's fit he will probably start on the bench.

Player to watch: Alex Revell

Puts in a lot of hard work and definitely deserves a goal or three

Dagenham & Redbridge Team News:

Josh Scott has returned from his loan with non-league Ebbsfleet and could go straight into the squad with either Sam Williams or Ben Strevens making way.

Player to watch: Luke Howell

Midfielder who proves he knows where the net is scoring nine goals this season, two of them against the Millers at the corresponding fixture in November

Match Facts & Stats
