Millers v Grecians Preview

Rotherham United take on Exeter City this afternoon at the New York City which will be a fifth v seventh contest.

The Millers go into this game with just one win in the month so far and on the back of a disastrous three-nil loss away at Cheltenham. The Grecians have won two games in March and have two nil-nil draws with their last win away from home being at second placed Port Vale. The Millers last win at their new home was against local rivals Chesterfield last month.

Vital Quotes:

Steve Evans - It's going to be extremely tough. We went down there and won one-nil and I think we just about deserved it on the day. Paul Tisdale is a good manager and he's got some good players who are capable of coming here and putting on a good performance and we have to be at our very best. They are rock solid and tight at the back and they are coming here in good form which makes them very dangerous.

Paul Tisdale - Rotherham are a side who have the ability to win four-nil and to lose four-nil but I think they are that one team in the league who, on their day, can beat anybody convincingly so let's hope it's not us on Saturda

Rotherham United Team News:

Steve Evans will welcome Kari Arnason back to the starting eleven after suspension and will also have winger Lionel Ainsworth available after recalling him from his loan spell with Aldershot a few days early. There is a chance that Scott Shearer will start in goal after coming through ninety minutes of a Reserve game during the week.

Player to watch: Daniel Kearns

Only one for me who came out of the game at Cheltenham with any credit. Likes to push down the wing and if he gets a chance will get some good balls into the box

Exeter City Team News:

The Grecians have signed midfielder Anton Rodgers until the end of the season and he is expected to play some part in the game as is fellow loanee and midfielder Lawson D'Ath. Definitely out are injured quarter Matt Oakley, Tommy Doherty, Alan Gow and Liam Sercombe.

Player to watch: Jamie Cureton

Been short-listed for the NPower League Two Player of the Year and will want to celebrate in style

Ref Watch:

SCOTT DUNCAN from Northumberland

Next Fixtures:

The Millers host AFC Wimbledon on Good Friday at the New York Stadium where it will be a 3.00pm kick-off
