Millers v Stevenage Preview

Stevenage
vs.
Rotherham United

Lamex Stadium

16 November 2013

3.00pm

Rotherham United are back in league action this afternoon when they travel to Hertfordshire to take on Stevenage.

The Millers go to the Lamex Stadium on the back of two cup wins (FA Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy) but haven't won a league game since their trip to Griffin Park at the beginning of October. Like the Millers 'Boro also won their two cup games and haven't lost a game at home since that same day in October.

Going into this game the Millers are in tenth place on twenty-one points and Stevenage are nine places below with fourteen points.

Vital Quotes:

Graham Westley - Steve Evans is an alright guy. People read him as a fiery character but a lot of it is just huff and puff. He's a good Manager and knows how to get teams winning but its Rotherham United we are playing and you have to make sure that you are ready to do much more than them to win the game. We're in a decent position but we know there is still a lot of work to do.

Steve Evans - I think Graham Westley had a raw deal at Preston but I think he's found his club with Stevenage and gets great support from his Chairman. They've got good players and we know that we are in for a physical battle. They will have done their homework but maybe we might just do something they aren't expecting.

Stevenage Team News:

Graham Westley has a few players with knocks ahead of this afternoon's clash and one of them, Joe Ashton, is a big doubt while Roarie Deacon is suspended.

Player to watch: Francois Zoko

Joined Stevenage in October and with seven goals in eight games has become their top scorer

Rotherham United Team News:

Rotherham United will be without the services of Kari Arnason who is on international duty with Iceland while Mark Bradley and Michael O'Connor are rated only as fifty-fifty to play. Alex Revell and Ben Pringle should return to the starting line-up after being on the subs bench on Tuesday night.

Player to watch: Kieran Agard

Striker who has been playing on the wing this season for the Millers and will be wanting to get into double figures on the goal scoring sheet already having nine.
