New York Stadium
21 December 2013
Rotherham United's last home game of 2013 sees high flying Wolverhampton Wanderers make their first visit to the New York Stadium.
Wolves were tipped as favourites to go straight back up to the Championship after being relegated last season and, so far, apart from a couple of blips recently, they are doing 'what it says on the can' and go into this game in second place, one point behind leaders Leyton Orient. But the hosts are going well too in sixth place not having lost in the league since the end of October.
With Wolves losing their last two games the Millers will be hoping that they won't be on the end of a backlash this afternoon.
Steve Evans - What a fantastic football clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers is and what a fantastic owner. And Kenny Jackett is a good manager who knows this league and I think this team will be the champions of the league. They have some outstanding players and this will be the best team we have played at the New York Stadium.
Kenny Jackett - It's a real test for us and we have to be ready. We have to see it as a lesson after losing two on the trot. Your next game is always your most important and Rotherham are on a great run and are playing at a new stadium and have continued the momentum from last season. We have respect for Rotherham and what they've achieved and I`m looking forward to going to the New York City Stadium for the first time. They`re a hungry club and a hungry team.
The Millers are set to have a full bench for the first time in a while with injured players Joe Skarz, Michael O'Connor, Pablo Mills and David Worrall all being back in training. The only one who might not make it is Rob Milsom who has had an injection this week on a back problem. Even so, it could be that the Millers Boss goes with the same eleven that started the game at Bristol City last weekend
On loan from Wigan the striker will be looking for his fifth goal in as many games
Kenny Jackett will be without Matt Doherty who has been sidelined with a hamstring problem for over six weeks. Also out is Kevin McDonald who is suspended for this game.

The Millers travel to West Yorkshire for their Boxing Day clash with Bradford City on Thursday where it will be a 3.00pm kick-off
