New York Stadium
1 February 2014
Rotherham United welcome Leyton Orient for their first visit to the New York Stadium this afternoon in what is a top five clash.
The Millers go into this game only having lost one game last month, which was at home to Coventry on New Years Day while the only game Orient lost throughout January was away to Yeovil in the FA Cup and they come to the New York with just one league away loss all season.
Rotherham start the game in fifth place and have the potential to go up a place with a win or a draw. An Orient win and if Brentford only draw away at Shrewsbury could take the London club to the top of the table.
Paul Raynor - Russell (Slade) is a good guy and an excellent manager. He's got a real consistency about his team selection. He's so enthusiastic for the game and a likeable guy and, apart from Saturday, I'd love him to do well. If we can replicate the season they've had that would be fantastic.
Russell Slade - It will be tough. Rotherham are a very physical direct side who work exceptionally hard. I`m looking forward to it.
Steve Evans goes into this game with just two slight doubts against Lee Frecklington and Rob Milsom. Being busy in January the Millers will have the services of a few loan players plus Wes Thomas should start up front with Alex Revell after a good display by the pair on Tuesday night. New boy Nicky Adams is also available.
Would love to repeat his performance on Tuesday night against his former club
Like the Millers, Orient have been busy in the transfer window and brought in goalkeeper Ben Alnwick from Charlton and Burnley midfielder Marvin Bartley
Both David and his strike partner Kevin Lisbie have great scoring records this season with David being Orient's top scorer getting his fifteenth goal on Tuesday night

The Millers make the long trek to Essex next Saturday to take on Colchester United. Kick-off is 3.00pm
