Millers v Posh Preview

Rotherham United travel to Peterborough this afternoon with both sides hoping for three points to help secure a play-off place come May.

The Millers go into this game hoping it will end as a thirteenth game without defeat having won eight and drawn four of their last twelve games. The Posh are one place behind the Millers with eight points less and an inferior goal difference.

Peterborough lost their last home game two-one to Bristol City while the Millers last away defeat was at Vale Park at the end of December.

Vital Quotes:

Darren Ferguson - Rotherham's had a very good season and have got a very good away record. They are a good team and have kept a pretty consistent team for a while now. It's going to be a good test for us but we will be ready.

Steve Evans -You have two managers who like to play football the right way. I have a lot of time and respect for Darren Ferguson. We will be prepared meticulously and all the players will go right until the final whistle. It's an exciting race for the play-offs and I still think there are some teams outside the top six who could have something to say.

Peterborough Team News:

Peterborough have Danny Swanson back from suspension and striker Kyle Vassell has recovered from a broken toe so will be available but Darren Ferguson has said that he doesn't want to complicate his selection.

Player to watch: Britt Assombalonga

Joined Peterborough in the summer and will want to add to his twenty-seven goals so far this season

Rotherham United Team News:

Rotherham United will be without Mark Bradley and Wes Thomas probably won't make it but James Tavernier and Claude Davis will be amongst the travelling players

Player to watch: Lee Frecklington

Frecks has been on fire for the Millers this season and will enjoy going back to this former club
