Millers v Terriers Preview

Rotherham United
Huddersfield Town

New York Stadium

14 February 2017

Rotherham United welcome Huddersfield Town to the New York Stadium for this Valentines Day game that sees the teams twenty-one places away from each other in the Championship.

With the Terriers just below the automatic promotion places they beat QPR away on Saturday while Rotherham were drawing against Blackburn Rovers.

The Millers last home win came in mid-January against Norwich City with Huddersfield's last away loss being on the same weekend at nearby Hillsborough.

Vital Quotes:

Matty Hamshaw - It wouldn't surprise me if Huddersfield aren't in or around the automatic places at the end of the season.

David Wagner - It's a derby so will be a tough fight against an opponent who haven't given up.

Rotherham United Team News:

Aimen Belaid and Darnell Fisher look like missing out again this evening but Paul Warne could give Joel Ekstrand his debut. This game has also come too early for Lee Frecklington.

Player to watch: Danny Ward

Playing against his former club he will want to do well

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Huddersfield could have Christopher Schindler and Harry Bunn in the travelling squad but Jonathan Hogg, who has a groin injury, won't feature. And, of course, there could be other players being rested this evening with the Terriers having a big game against Manchester City in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Player to watch: Izzy Brown

Former loanee who is scoring goals for fun with Huddersfield
