Millers v Bees Preview

Brentford
vs.
Rotherham United

Griffin Park

25 February 2017

3.00pm

Rotherham United travel to Griffin Park this afternoon to take on fourteenth place Brentford.

The Millers go into this game on the back of a five-nil thrashing away at Cardiff while Brentford beat promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in their mid-week game.

The Bees last three games have been away from home with their last game at Griffin Park being a three-all draw with second placed Brighton and Hove Albion. Rotherham have yet to get an away win this season.

Vital Quotes:

Dean Smith - Rotherham United have been scrapping away all season and they have had a lot of change. They beat us at their place earlier in the season although I thought we were good on the day but didn't take our chances. We have to make sure that we are fully committed to our performance to get a result. The mentality has been good and our recent performances at home have been very good so we have to do that again.

Paul Warne - Brentford are a young, athletic side and are a threat from set-pieces. They are attractive to watch and deserved the win against Sheffield Wednesday. They are a good little football club and Dean Smith is a good Manager. They are really good at home and it will be a tough game.

Brentford Team News:

Brentford have doubts over Lasse Vibe, Josh McEachran and Philipp Hoffman with centre-back definitely missing due to suspension.

Rotherham United Team News:

Paul Warne will have Cardiff loanees Semi Ajayi and Tom Adeyemi back in contention after missing last weeks game against their parent club. Danny Ward should also be back after injury but defender Darnell Fisher is out after lasting just fifteen minutes in a mid-week reserve game. Goalkeeper Lewis Price is back - will Warney choose him over Richard O'Donnell?

Player to watch: Jon Taylor
