Millers v Seasiders Preview
9 December 2017
Rotherham United make the trip to Bloomfield Road this afternoon to take on a Blackpool side who are one place above them in the League.
Last time out in the league the Seasiders lost t home to Blackburn Rovers with Rotherham losing away at Bristol Rovers last weekend.
The last time the Millers won away from home was away at Rochdale at the beginning of October while Blackpool's last home league win was in mid-October.
Gary Bowyer - Rotherham are a side who spent a lot of money in the summer (Ed Note - we did?) They`re rightly considered to be one of the favourites to bounce back to the Championship. But it's what you put out on the pitch that matters and we'll have a good go at them.
Paul Warne - He (Gary Bowyer) did an amazing job taking Blackpool up last season and they do play good football and like to play out from the back. It will be a tough game for us. They've obviously got problems off the pitch and there's a weird atmosphere in the ground.
Blackpool Team News:
After injury Clark Robertson played some part in the Checkatrade Trophy game in mid-week and could be in the starting eleven this afternoon. Curtis Tilt will have a late fitness test but Kyle Vassell could declare himself fit for this one.
Player to watch: Kyle Vassell
Will be hoping to be fit for this one and add to his eight goals already this season
Rotherham United Team News:
Darren Potter is classed as 'unlikely' although things aren't as bad as first thought but Jon Taylor won't make it while Kieffer Moore is suspended. Jonson Clarke-Harris could come back into the starting eleven and Marek Rodak is almost certain to keep his place in goal. It's hopeful that both Joe Newell and Michael Ihiekwe shrug off knocks
Player to watch: Lee Frecklington
The Millers skipper will be geeing the lads up for this one
