Millers vs. Hartlepool

Millmoor

4 August

3 pm

Final Pre-Season Game

Danny Wilson's Hartlepool are the last team to come to Millmoor before the season begins. 'Pool, who were promoted from the League Two last season, should give the Millers an indication of what they will be facing in life in the lowest division of the football league.

Vital Quotes:

Millers manager, Mark Robins, says 'this will be a stiff test.'

Millers Team News:

The Millers will be without Tom Cahill as he recovers from minor surgery and Mark Hudson who looks like being out for a number of weeks with torn knee ligaments. The good news for Mark Robins is that Danny Harrison, who has been suffering with a thigh strain, will be available.

Player to watch: Andy Todd

Seems to get stronger each game he plays

Hartlepool Team News:

Hartlepool entertained Dutch side AZ Alkmaar earlier this week and held them to a one all draw. James Brown was taken off, as what the manager said was a 'precaution' due to a kick on the knee but there were rumours that Rangers had offered £500,000 for him but Danny Wilson says he hasn't heard anything.

Player to watch: Richie Barker

- well couldn't be anyone else could it!

Next Fixtures:

The Millers start their life in League Two away at Hereford United on 11th August, kick off 3 pm
