Millers vs. Posh

Millmoor

SUNDAY, 19 August

2.00pm

The Posh Are Coming.....

The League comes back to Millmoor - albeit on a Sunday with a two o'clock kick-off - and the opponents are Peterborough United.

The last time these two met in the League was seven years ago when Rotherham manager, Mark Robins, scored one of the three goals in a three-nil victory that day.

Vital Quotes:

Millers Manager, Mark Robins, says,'I watched Peterborough play at Southampton on Monday night and they are a very good side. They have a good manager and some quality players. We need to get three points from this game.'

Visiting striker, Aaran McLean, told Posh's official site, 'It will be interesting to see who the gaffer picks to play against Rotherham. We have a lot of good strikers at this club - if I do get picked I hope I can take my chances and score.'

Manager, Darren Fergusson, said 'I saw how dangerous Rotherham can be - I was in the studio with Sky last night. They played some excellent football in the first half.'

Millers Team News:

No news on Stephen Brogan yet who went off with an injury last night and Tom Cahill and Mark Hudson are still out but apart from that all seems to be OK in the Millers camp.

Player to watch: Danny Harrison

After scoring last night he could well be looking for more to add to his tally

Posh Team News:

Craig Mackail-Smith looks likely to miss out with Claude Gnakpa (ankle) and Danny Blanchett (hernia op) still not available.

Player to watch: Aaran Mclean

Mark Robins thinks his pairing with George Boyd is strong up front

Ref Watch:

The referee is Mr Robert L Shoebridge from Derbyshire
