Millers hosts to Chester

Ex Millers favourite, Bobby Williamson, brings his Chester City team to Millmoor tomorrow for the first time since 1999, which is the season Chester were relegated out of the football league and the Millers got promoted to the old Division Two (now League One).

With fifth place taking on second place this could be another tough test for Mark Robins and his young side tomorrow, but the fans will be hoping to see the same four-nil scoreline at the end of the game.

Vital Quotes:

'We are preparing well for the game,' Robins told the Official Site, 'but I haven't decided what my final eleven will be yet. It may prove to be a tough game but we are looking forward to it.

'Chester have started well and they will have some early momentum about them and we will need to be on the ball for the whole ninety minutes.'

Ex Millers striker, Williamson, told The Star that he did glance at the Millers dates when the fixture list came out. 'It will be nice to come back to Millmoor,' he said, 'Rotherham got promotion in the first season I was here and the fans took to me.'

Millers Team News:

Mark Robins has a nice dilemma ahead of the game tomorrow by having both Danny Harrison and Stephen Brogan vying for the central midfield place. We will be without Mark Hudson, still on the mend after a knee injury and it is doubtful that Tom Cahill will play after feeling a twinge while warming up for the reserve game earlier this week. Otherwise, all are fit and well.

Player to watch: Dale Tonge

Getting praise from fans and management alike and is obviously enjoying his football with Rotherham United

Chester Team News:

The Blues have no injury problems, although Nathan Lowndes picked up a slight back strain in a midweek reserve game, he is likely to be available for selection. Williamson will probably field the same side that beat Dagenham and Redbridge last weekend, which included ex Miller Richie Partridge.

Player to watch: Kevin Ellison

has been influencial for Chester so far this season causing problems down the wing

Ref Watch:

Mr Graham Salisbury from Preston

Next Fixtures:

The Millers are away in the JP Trophy on Tuesday 4th September at Mansfield, kick off 7.45pm
