Millers take on Silkmen

Macclesfield come to Millmoor today on the back of a two all draw at home to Rochdale and manager, Ian Brightwell's position is being questioned after the team haven't won a game in their last seven and only two on the road all season.
The Millers are up to third with just one defeat in the last thirteen games.
The game between these two at Macclesfield earlier in the season ended in a one all draw.

Vital Quotes:

Town's manager, Ian Brightwell, says his team are full of confidence and 'a win on New Years Day would be a great start to 2008 and make up for the disappointment of conceding a late goal again on Saturday.'

Rotherham Team News:

After securing the services of Ian Ross for another month (on an emergency loan) it is expected he will continue to start today although, manager, Mark Robins, could shuffle the team around after having a number of games over the Christmas period. Danny Harrison, who has been playing with a badly bruised foot, might be replaced with Mark Newsham. Mark Hudson could keep his place and Dale Tonge might get a call to start.

Francis Green and Martin Gritton could be missing from today's line-up. Green suffered an ankle injury in their last game and Gritton a deep cut. Nick Blackman and Phil Doughty look set to replace them.
