Millers v Chester Preview

The Millers take their nearly four months unbeaten away run to Chester tomorrow and meet up with a couple of ex Millers in manager, Bobby Williamson and winger Richie Partridge.
The Millers go into this game in second place in League Two and should be full of confidence with a much superior goal difference to the home team.
After a good start to the season Chester lost their way a bit and lie in twelfth place recently losing five out of six games.

Vital Quotes:

Bobby Williamson - I've got belief in them but the trouble is the confidence gets sapped. It would be great to get a win and manage to hit the back of the net.
Mark Robins - There's a positive feel around the squad and enthusiasm is there which we are going to need for the challenge ahead

Chester Team News:

Chester could have John Murphy and Tony Grant available after injury along with Paul Linwood and Paul Butler who are set to play together for the first time in weeks, but Nathan Lowndes and Tony Dinning are still a bit away

Player to watch: Richie Partridge

If the Millers don't keep a tight hold of ex player Partridge he could lead them a merry dance

Rotherham Team News:

Ryan Taylor has been suffering with a virus that could make him doubtful for tomorrow's trip although he was back to training on Thursday. Apart from that, the Millers have a clean bill of health!

Player to watch: Pablo Mills

His strength will marshall the Millers midfield and, I think, he'd like to get in on the goal act too!

Ref Watch:

Mr Tony Bates of Staffordshire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers next game is away at Peterborough on Tuesday, 29 January with a 7.45pm kick off
