RUFC - Ref Watch v Bradford

MR DANNY McDERMID from London

Danny started on the Football League list of assistant referee's in season 2003-2004, while he was still based in Hampshire.
He later moved base to the capital and is now in his 2nd full season on the National list of Referee's.

McDermid is in charge of his 2nd Millers game, with his first coming on December 16th 2006 at our 2-0 defeat at Cheltenham.
During this game 5 players were shown the yellow card, including Ian Sharps and Martin Woods from the Millers.

He took charge of 26 games last season, showing 92 yellows and 4 reds.
This season in his 16 games so far, he has booked 43 players and shown red 7 times.

One of his games this season gave Danny national headlines, for all the wrong reasons, as he was charged with bringing the game into disrepute following an altocation with Leeds United Manager Dennis Wise.
McDermid was charged following the match against Gillingham on September 29. He denied the charge.'
Leeds had both strikers, Tresor Kandol and then Jermaine Beckford, sent off at Priestfield before a last-minute goal from Gillingham's Ian Cox ended the Yorkshire club's 100% record at the start of the season.
Wise was sent to the stands himself and the former Wimbledon and Chelsea midfielder claimed McDermid swore at him after the match.

Danny will be assisted at Bradford by...
CHRIS E REEVES from East Yorkshire
JOCK WAUGH from South Yorkshire
The Fourth Official will be...
PAUL GRAHAM from Greater Manchester
