KEVIN A FRIEND FROM LEICESTERSHIRE

Born on 8th of July 1971, Kevin began Refereeing at the age of 14 in 1985.
He progressed through the local Leicestershire Leagues before joining the Football League Assistant Referee's list in 2000.
He was Assistant Referee for the 2003 LDV Vans Trophy Area Final between Bristol City and Cambridge United and he was promoted to the National list of Referee's later that same year.

So far this season Kevin has taken charge of 30 games, showing 76 Yellows (2.53 per game) and 8 reds, the latest red being a straight red for Tranmere's Steve Jennings during their 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers on February 23rd.
