He was then promoted to the National list of Football League Referee's at the start of the 2006-2007 season.

So far this season, Robert has officiated at 8 games, showing 15 yellows and 1 red, this being to QPR's Matt Connolly for a second bookable offence during their 1-0 win at Norwich last Wednesday.
