RUFC - Ref Watch v Daggers
Mr David J Phillips from Sussex

Yet again a Rotherham United game is Referee'd by an official in his first season on the Football League list.
David joined the list of Football League assistant referee's in 2003-2004 and following 2 seasons reffing at Conference level he got his promotion this season.

Last season David officiated at 17 Conference games, showing 65 yellows (3.82 per game) and sending off no fewer than 11 players.
3 of the reds came in York City's 2-0 away win at Grays Athletic in September 2007.

So far he has taken charge of 3 games this term, showing 4 yellows and 1 red, which came in his last outing, when he sent off Macclesfield's Gareth Evans.
Evans got a straight red for violent conduct in the 17th minute of the Silkmens 1-0 win at Bournemouth on September 13th.
This came after he scored the only goal of the game after 2 minutes.
