RUFC - Ref Watch v Aldershot

Mr Mike Oliver from Northumberland.

Mike began refereeing when he was fourteen years of age and was just twenty-one when he took charge of his first league game, Hereford v Grimsby, in March 2007.

He was the man in the middle for two of our games last season - our three-nil win at home to Macclesfield, when Mark Hudson scored in the seventieth minute followed by two in seven minutes from Ryan Taylor and our last ever game at Millmoor when a goal from Jamie Green in the eighth minute saw us win against Barnet.

His father, Clive Oliver, was in charge of our game against Grimsby earlier this season when we won four-one. (Let's hope his son sees a similar scoreline for us on Saturday!)

This season, Mike has been in charge of seventeen games and has given out forty yellow cards and three reds.

Mike will be assisted by . . .

M Coy and P Varley

The Fourth Official is . . .
