RUFC - Ref Watch v Scunthorpe

RUFC - Ref Watch v Scunthorpe
Mr CW Oliver from Ashington, Northumberland

Clive qualified as a referee in 1990 and progressed through the Northern League before becoming a Football League assistant Referee in 1998. He was promoted to the National list of Referee's in 2004.

Clive made his first visit to Don Valley earlier this season when he was in the middle for our game against Grimsby in October. The Millers ran out 4-1 winners and there were no cards shown that day.

His last game at Millmoor was in April last year when the Millers beat Dagenham and Redbridge 2-1. A penalty from Mark Hudson in the first few minutes of the game and a Danny Harrison goal before half-time gave the Millers the advantage with Ben Strevens pulling one back for the visitors. That day a yellow for the Daggers Peter Gain was the only card shown.

This season, Clive has shown 42 yellow and 4 red cards in the 17 games he has officiated at.

He will be assisted by

MC Dexter from Leicestershire and
AJ Horton from the West Midlands

The Fourth Official will be

ND Swarbrick from Lancashire
