'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Grimsby Town

KD HILL from Hertfordshire.

Keith is a regional referee manager for the FA and began refereeing in Hertfordshire when he was just fourteen. In 1994 he was promoted to the National List of Assistant Referees before being promoted to the Referees List four years later.

He lists the highlight of his career, so far, as an U18 UEFA Championship Qualifying game between Portugal and Germany in The Azores in November 1996 for which he was an assistant referee and when he was fourth official in February 2002 in Kabul, for the Game of Unity.

Keith was in the middle for our game at Millmoor last season against local rivals Chesterfield. The Millers won the game 2-1 with first half goals from Peter Holmes and Marc Joseph. Jamie Ward scored the consolation for the Spireites. Booked that day were visitors Peter Hartley and Lloyd Kerry.

This season, Keith has shown 59 yellow and 2 red cards in the 17 games he has officiated in.

Helping Keith on Saturday will be

WE GRUNNILL from East Yorkshire
and
T HARRINGTON from Cleveland

The Fourth Official will be

N MURPHY from Nottinghamshire
