'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ref Watch v Darlington

KG EVANS from Greater Manchester.

Karl spent three seasons as a panel referee and National List Assistant Referee and this is his second season as a National List Referee. He was fifteen when he started to referee and he was a member of the Professional Game Match Official's refereeing team for the Dallas Cup last year.

Karl has only officiated at one game involving Rotherham and that was last season in our one-all draw at Millmoor with Notts County. Peter Holmes scored early on in the game and Spencer Weir-Daley got the equaliser before half-time. He booked three players that day, Marcus Bean for the Millers and Paul Mayo and Matthew Somner for County.

This season Karl has given out twenty-five yellow and just one red card in the eleven games he has been in the middle for.

His assistants on Tuesday will be

KW Haycock from West Yorkshire and
B Roberts from Lancashire

The Fourth Official will be

DA McCallum from Tyne and Wear
